The Second Annual Triangle AWRT Fall Premiere was a rousing success!

Raleigh, NC August 15, 2001 - A record crowd joined local broadcasters and cable providers at NCSU's McKimmon Center on Wednesday, August 15th, as they rolled out their fall programming. Shannon Vickery, host of WUNC-TV's "North Carolina Now", served as the evening's emcee. Participating stations included PAX, Time Warner Cable Adcast, WKFT, WLFL, WNCN, WRAL, WRAZ, and WRDC. The Triangle Chapter would like to additionally recognize the following companies and individuals for providing donations and services to make this event successful:

Guests were greeted at the registration table by Board member Cherie Connelly and other volunteers.

The TV Marquis theme made everything look more festive.

Decorations included "larger than life" Gracie Awards, which honor programming created by women, for women or about women.
